Quilt Discovery Days
You are welcome to attend any
training or Quilt Discovery Day, with some limitations up to the
hosting group. Please fill in the form below if you will attend,
and add the location and date in the “Comments” box. The
information will go to the host group, who will contact you with
details.
These Quilt Discovery Days are planned for
documenting quilts belonging to the public (not guild members).
If you have a quilt to be documented, please contact the group
about their policy.
Data Entry Volunteers
The Florida Quilt Project data collected at Quilt Discovery days
will be entered into the Quilt Index by trained volunteers who
are members of SSQA or its member guilds. After being trained,
the data entry is done at home on the volunteers' own computers.
Training is done by attending a group session or by a telephone
call-in session.
