An Area Rep is the individual member's link to SSQA.

She gathers local news about shows, winners, speakers, symposiums, etc. and sends it to the newsletter editor. She brings news and ideas from SSQA meetings back to the local level via meeting announcements, newsletters, etc.

She also acts as conduit for new members (although individuals, guilds, vendors and shops can apply directly to SSQA for membership, and guilds can subscribe directly to the newsletter.)

If you're interested in representing your area, contact the membership chair. NOTE: there is no limit to the number of area reps a place can have. If you wanna be a rep, be a rep!

Thanks to all area reps who have put information about SSQA and our meetings in their local guild newsletters. If you have an article about SSQA published, please send a copy of the publication to our historian.
