Ellen Lindner is an award-winning art quilter and
teacher, who is passionate about the art of quilt making. She says, "I make art
quilts for the pure joy of doing so.”
Entirely self-taught, Ellen has worked most of her
adult life as a flight instructor. Now utilizing her teaching expertise at a
lower altitude, Ellen offers lectures and workshops in a variety of quilting
areas. These are always well received, since her enthusiasm for design, color,
and experimentation is contagious!
Ellen’s latest venture is the addition of online
classes to her website. She’s been pleasantly surprised to find that this format
still allows for a high level of interaction with her students. She can even
draw on their photos to illustrate her comments!
