Ruth's block, along with
others from around the world, was forwarded to Randolph
AFB, TX where "quiltmaker extraordinaire,"
Laguana Peterson assembled the quilt.
The "Air Force 50th
Anniversary Heritage Quilt" is now on display at the
US Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB near Dayton,
Ohio. Ruth had the opportunity to see the quilt on
display this summer. "The completed project is very
impressive and is a stop not to be missed by any quilter
traveling in the area," Ruth said.
