I would love to make Susan Powell's Celestial Dream quilt and would like to know where I can purchase the pattern.  I recently saw this quilt at our local quilt show and it is so colorful.  How wonderful you all can do a retreat for this quilt!

Hi my name in Janice Conder, I attended the quilt show there in February. I took a class from Peggy Frackle (might be spelled wrong) on Stacky Wacky Stars. I have lost her web site info. Is there anyway someone would remember and help me out. I would surely appreciate the help.
I really enjoyed the show and the classes I took, Hopefully there will be another one this next year.
Have a great day. jann1938@bbtel.com  Janice

Good afternoon.  I have been on your website and just love it! I am wondering if anyone could help me find the Celestial Dreams quilt pattern by Susan Powell? I would really like to make this quilt. I am fairly new to quilting 3 years, but love to do both traditional and contemporary work. You can reach me at tdwjohnson@yahoo.com

Hi

I am a member of the Withlacoochee Quilters Guild in Valdosta GA, Georgia Quilt Council, and American Quilters Society. I'm looking for teachers and to see what other states are offering. I have attended several retreats and the Alabama Symposium two years. Yours symposium looks good. I don't believe that many north Florida quilters are aware of your organization. We recently co-oped with Lake City Lady of the Lake Guild, and two other groups, on a show at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Park 17 annual Quilt Show--a very successful venture. Our first time working together. krzyqltrpat@bellsouth.net

Hi Quilters,
I live in central NYS and have been surfing the web.  What wonderful quilters I find in Florida!  My problem is I found an Apple Paper foundation block to print out at one of the Florida guilds websites and I've now lost it.  It was framed in a pretty red and green plaid.  I was wondering if anyone could share that with me or its location?  I love what I find online especially in Florida!  Great websites and information!  I belong to a small guild of which I am a founding member and we now are 12 years old.  Apple time is here and as our leaves begin to change and the apples are ripening, I get the urge to quilt!  I love apples, so if anyone has this paper pieced apple pattern to share, maybe I can help out you with something.  Thanks, Yvonne   jordanlykk@msn.com

PLEASE HELP! I am in Homestead FL close enough to cutler ridge, kendall, basically MIAMI and I need help! My 82 year old grandmother has made a quilt for all 11 great grandchildren, but the time has come that she has made the top but has asked me (her grandaughter) to find her help. She did a twin size top for a quilt for the 12th and last great grandchild but we need to find someone QUICK to add the backing and machine quilt it. We have a health problem with her and it means so much to our family to have this last one done before it's to late. Please if you know of anyone in my area that can back and machine quilt this PLEASE let me know asap.
Thank you in advance for all of your help. Renee Worrall  305-505-0687  worra3@aol.com

I visited the site to download the registration form to attend the June 9-10, 2006 meeting in Gainesville where I hope to learn more about the quilt documentation effort. I live in Ocala. I had never visited the site before and found it very informative. I enjoy reading the messages from other quilters from around the country and the world. We're including a quilt show in our nation-wide family reunion this year. It's being held in a hotel and we can't mount anything to the walls. Does anyone have a good way of displaying quilts using some kind of portable frame system? Thanks! Janice janice_fleenorsmith@yahoo.com

I am looking for instructor for our guild's (Quilters Unlimited of Tallahassee) workshop for 2007, March/April. I reviewed all the listed teachers in SSQA that had profiles. I would like to review the others but there are too many to email directly. If any of the other instructors do art quilting please contact me. I had hoped to use Florida talent. The "flavor" of the type of work I am interested in is: David Walker, Karen K. Stone, Kaffe Fassett. Now Karen and Kaffe actually use traditional patterns but have excellent color and design skills that make their traditional base unique. David is more pure art and design. Anyway, just hoped to use Florida talent before going national.
We would also be willing to share expenses with another guild if you are bringing in instructors in 2007 in March/April. Many national teachers have already started booking. Cynthia pernyc@comcast.net

I was browsing your web site for the SSQA and saw a quilt called Celestial Dream made by Leslie. I have been looking for the pattern and I wonder if any of your members have and would be willing to sell or share it. As far as I can tell the pattern is no longer on the market. I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks

Hello, I am new to quilting. I am having a lot of fun with making my 1st one, a variation on the grandmother's quilt, I think, as I have little to judge it by. I have read only a little but am wondering why there isn't a group here in Lakeland. I wish there was. I see there are a few stores that deal in the fabric etc. So have you heard of one or know of anyone here, Lake Wales is a bit far, who would like to find others with like interest??? Thanks Lois a4149eagle@peoplepc.com

I know there is a group in Anthony, but don't know where or when they meet or if they have any openings, but would like to find out. I also would like to know if there are any other groups in the area. If I don't find one I will go through withdrawal. Help!!! Diana sewist2000@yahoo.com

Hi! My friend Becky is looking for a fabric with pictures of beer steins on it. Her son outgrew his souvenir tee-shirt from Munich Octoberfest and she wants to make a pillow out of it, backed in beer stein print, in mostly red and yellow if possible. I already looked at hundreds of fabrics on the Connecting Threads site and didn't know where else to look. Can anyone help my memento-making friend? Thank you!

I'm one of the charter members of SSQA. Because of health problems, I have difficulty sewing, but still try to attend meetings and participate in the Winter Haven Quilters as much as I can. We are a busy group who meet on the first and third Mondays of each month except for December at the First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven at 10:00 AM until 2:00. We are always eager to welcome visiting quilters and new members. Please contact me at ruthbquilt@yahoo.com for more information. Ruth Briggs, Publicity Chairperson.

I work night shift at a hospital and the 2 guilds in my area have meetings during the day when I cannot attend. I also have heard the the Sunbonnet Sue guild in Vero has closed their membership. Please write and advise me of any other guilds in my area. I would love to participate; however, my work schedule makes it difficult. Thanks for the other information about the Daytona meeting and your website looks great! Linda Estrada 626 21st Street SW, Vero Beach, Florida 32962. (772)569-0478 Thanks again, Linda

My mother and I stopped at your quilt show in New Smyrna Beach while we were there. Lots of georgeous quilts. Great show. We always make a stop at the store while we are there also. We just love it. You always have lots of quilts to look at and gives us some great ideas. While we were at the show, one of the vendors had a cross-stitch antique sewing machine kit with a quilted border. Do you know where I can purchase that particular kit? Thanks, Judy from Michigan.
