Quilt Documentation Training

Geneva FL

pics by PatL & Sunnie

This place was interesting. It's an old red brick schoolhouse that was abandoned and dilapidated, but the community got together to restore it for a community center.

The room where we were for the documentation was floored with "Charley Wood"...it came from trees that had been blown down by the hurricane and were on the way to a landfill. But someone rescued them, and a local sawmill cut & planed them for the flooring!
