Julie has been teaching since 2001, first
developing patterns and techniques to make traditional quilts easier for
beginners and busy quilters, then gradually moving into the wonderful
world of quilted art. She specializes in discovering the creativity in
self-professed non-creative quilters and turning "I've never sewn
before." into "Oh my Goodness, look what I made!". Fun is of the highest
priority in these workshops and classes.
Julie's award winning quilts have been
displayed at colleges, museums and businesses throughout North Florida
and South Georgia. She gracefully walks the line between the quilt world
and the art world fusing the two in her own unique style, all the time
sharing with others her refreshingly easy techniques.
