Our mid-week retreat allows you to run away and still be back home for the weekend.

Fat Quarter Fun!
Bring some fat quarters to add to the Giant Container (already well-stocked). Guess How Many ? to win a prize for the closest number. Each fat quarter you contribute gives you a chance in the drawing. Divided into lots of 25, there are plenty of chances to win...maybe more than once!
     ~Bring some to contribute to the Lotto & Guess How Many, plus 4 - 6 for the Game.

Show & Tell Night!
We want to see what you’ve been working on!  Don't be shy!
Tops, finished quilts, bags ... you bring it, and we’ll have quilt handlers to items up while you share. At last ... a Show & Tell when you’ll have plenty of time afterwards to talk to the makers and exchange ideas!

Daily Demos
Learn four new tricks without a full class commitment or too much time away from your own quilting.

Raffle Quilts
You may bring your guild’s raffle quilt with its own stand and sell tickets ... Lake Yale is supposed to get 10% of the sales. That’s for you to work out.

COST: $140 for SSQA members $165 for non-members
(sewing space, double room, 6 meals)

Afternoon - sew, relax, have fun!

5:00-ish - Daily Demo #1

5:30 - 6:30 pm - Dinner is served!

7:00pm - (after dinner) -- Retreat Review Welcome & Unlimited Show & Tell
What better way to get to know who’s at retreat than a Show & Tell? Bring tops and finished projects. There will be quilt handlers to hold them up.  At last ... a S&T when you have plenty of time after to talk to the person who made that eye-catching item!

9:00pm - Sewing or sleeping...it’s your choice
 

Wednesday May 16 7:30 - 8:30 am - Breakfast

Morning - sew and schmooze

10:00-ish  - Daily Demo #2

12:00noon - Lunch

Afternoon - sew & relax

2:00-ish -  - Daily Demo #3

5:30 - 6:30pm - Dinner

7:00pm -  (after dinner) -- Game Night
The Game officially lasts 1 hour ... but those who like can play all night (or even not at all). You need 4 - 6 FQs to play.

9:00 pm - LAST CHANCE to vote for the In My View Block Contest and add FQs or guess how many are there? in the Giant Container.

Sew as late as you like!

1:00 (after lunch) - Block Contest & Fat Quarter Winners!
Block contest winner announced & drawing(s) held to win the blocks. “How many” winner announced & FQs Lotto drawing—divided into lots of 25 so
your chances of winning are huge!

3:00pm -  Retreat ends
