Nancy Prince specializes in an exciting concept called thread painting. While thread painting has been around for years, Nancy has taken the concept and put a unique spin on it that no one in the industry is currently doing. Using thread, Nancy paints a design onto her fabric. Thread painting offers excitement, challenge and creativity that cannot be found in traditional quilting alone.

Thread painting can transform a photograph, picture or composite of images into a memorable wall quilt and best of all, drawing skills are not required. Novice to advanced quilters, sewers or embroiderers can equally thread paint a design with a minimum amount of effort and practice. Now you can take that favorite photograph or picture and bring it to life!

Teaching thread painting gives Nancy the opportunity to share ideas, techniques and, most importantly, laughter and fun with her students. She currently teaches and lecture at quilt shops, quilt shows, conferences and quilt guilds. Her goal when teaching is to educate and encourage students to explore new avenues in quilting. Only by trying new ideas and challenging ourselves can we unlock our own creative spirit. Next to actually thread painting, teaching others thread painting teaching is her second passion.
