Symposium 2011
We had a wonderful time “Looking
Into the Future” April 6 - 10 in Tampa!
Teachers were
Velda Newman,
Sally Schneider,
Mary Sorensen
and
Leigh
McDonald. There were evening lectures, a Crystal
Ball Block Challenge, Parade of Eyewear, banquet, and other fun
and games.

SSQA sponsors an annual quilters gathering event, open to
everyone.
The Symposium alternates years with a Retreat, where attendees
work on their own projects and enjoy social activities in the
evening. |

Symposiums, Retreats and Meetings in the
Gallery. General Information:
Retreats are
held annually and include a variety of activities, including
sewing for charity, with the main focus on personal projects.
A Symposium is
held in place of the Retreat every two years and features
national teachers and speakers.
Dates will vary according to the locations available.
SSQA Retreat and Symposium are open to all quilters, though
members receive advanced registration and reduced fees.
